Investment is a magical piece, which is able to talk about the serious issues of charity consumerism, culture, politics and the environment without forcing it down anyone’s throat. It allows each of the proposals to have a life of their own and doesn’t create a hierarchy of what people should do with their own lives as we constantly struggle with the absurdities of this created culture. It’s a dance piece, a theatre piece, and maybe even a public service announcement for the lottery itself.

“Good evening welcome to Investment! Now under you seat you will see a scratch card for the Belgian Lottery. This is yours and in a few minutes you can see if you have won 100,000 euros! “This is the Community Orphanage Center charity in the Congo, with 100,000 euro you could revolutionize this orphanages world …

or

maybe you would like to use your money to make more money. On the stock market these three companies will insure you a good return on your money ...

or

possibly you might be interested in going another direction and supporting culture and would like to invest in dance itself…

or

in theatre…

or

you would prefer to have the latest Ferrari….”
